It seems I have created a rather popular monster. Mr. Deo’s first missive will also be published in Eleven Eleven – deep breath – “the annual journal of literature and art based at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco.”

And a translation of the same rant is currently running in the Dutch literary quarterly Bunker Hill. We just missed two consecutive specials featuring South African writers. But we prefer to fly solo anyway – Mr. Deo and I.
