Five Twitter Poems | Shards of Grief

I.
The night is to some
a dark canvas for
cosmic displays that
to others is pieced
together from shards
of grief, death and hell

————————-

II.
Tomorrow when you
find this you will know
that I was thinking
what you wondered
I was wondering
when I thought about
you reading this

————————-

III.
The cookie binge
the cookie binge
bleak boredom drives
the cookie binge
the fallout crumbs
the empty box
one cannot hide
the cookie binge

————————-

IV.
Sometimes poetry is little
more than a vehicle
for delivering fresh
water and toilets
blankets and rice
bound for the frozen
outskirts of hell

————————-

V.
Nothing
fuels the pen
like doing
absolutely
nothing

I did nothing
while writing
this poem
which is why
you found it
worth reading

Cookie, you used the word cookie. Bless you.

Are your shark facts going to turn into poems, next?

Cookie is so much more poetic than biscuit.

I am, in fact, planning to post a compendium of #UselessSharkFacts. Watch this space, but try not to splash...

Water doesn't play well with the electronics. ;)
